When Comet woke up she found that she was in a plane. There was a nurse sitting beside her who was taking care of the drip IV which was connected to her veins and there was a man in white coat talking to the two men who had asked her to call them daddy and Uncle Larry. Her voice was all hoarse and dry and her lips were parched.
“Water,” she croaked out as the nurse immediately gave her a straw to draw the water from in a paper cup. It helped a bit while both the two men looked at her in alarm. They smiled at her gently as if they were glad that she was waking up.
“Hello baby girl,” he came as he whispered and the nurse stood a few feet away.
