You did well.” Sonya leaned her head against Kagari’s warm fur, smiling with satisfaction. “So damn fluffy,” she whispered. “You better not drool on my fur,” Kagari said back. Nearby, Orianna and Kaya had perched themselves atop a higher platform firing arrows at soldiers below. An armored warrior leaped onto the walkway from below pulling an ariculon scythe from her back. “We got trouble, Orianna. Our arrows won’t penetrate that armor,” Kaya warned. “Use your speed,” Orianna suggested. Kaya focused her energy and sped across the platform.
