“Fine. You want to fight close up? Come on,” Cain challenged. Julius tackled the machine, slashing the beast’s head. Slight fissures of damage appeared in the armor. Cain pushed Julius away releasing another ray of energy. Dorian rushed forward breathing a trail of fire that stripped away some of the machine’s armor. “Damn it!” Cain growled as he grabbed Dorian by the neck with the beast’s claws. He raised his other talon to strike at Dorian’s chest. Dain caught the beast’s arm within his claws and fired a burst of yellow energy from his mouth. The attack pushed Cain away, severing the beast’s arm. Fractured pieces of ariculon armor fell through the sky, damaging the flag ship’s hull below.
