The sun was going to rise soon and Morleigh still hadn’t given any indication as to their destination. They had been riding for at least five hours, and as the time went on, Morleigh spoke more and more blatantly about the purpose of their journey, albeit without actually mentioning Leander’s name. Chance was hard-pressed to maintain his facade, knowing that soon he would find his little brother. When that finally happened, Morleigh was in for a thrashing like he’d never known.
“Where are we going?” Chance finally asked. “One of the Dearborne estates?”
