We woke up in a place that was totally white and full of stairs in all directions, some were up, some were down and some were upside down, but each one led to a white door, the light that surrounded us was incredibly strong, but not enough to blind us, There were no windows or lamps which made me question the source of all that light, the place was an incredible medium-sized room with walls so high that we couldn't see the ceiling, we could only see the floor where we stepped and this was made of a very white marble that reflected our feet, so clean was it. There were four other Asian boys next to us with purple hair and white clothes, all of them of medium height, besides these boys there were two people who I honestly couldn't identify and who disappeared quickly, in the blink of an eye. - Lary? Sarah? What is this place? - I said, getting up, scared, and looking everywhere in the strange place we were. - I have no idea! -Sarah answers- Lary, were you here before we were pulled with you? - No, I don't think so, I was falling into a completely bottomless dark purple tunnel and the only light I saw was the door opening and you two outside, so I tried to ask you for help? - And then we ended up here in this strange place... - I complete Lary's speech. - The parallel universe of doors you mean... - announces one of the lilac-haired Asians. - Hi, who are you? And what is this place? - asks Sarah, slightly distressed. - I am Martinez Liu and I and my clones are the maintainers and programmers of this universe, and if it's not too rude of me which universe do you belong to? We were frozen and looked at each other, we didn't know how to answer that question, because we had no idea what the name of our universe was, we only knew that the name of our planet was Earth and that it was submerged in the Milky Way. I took a deep breath and set to answering, even if wrongly, that question had to be answered. - Well, unfortunately we don't have a specific name for our dimension, we only know that the name of our planet is Earth. - So your dimension is of the expansional type, lucky for you girls, ours where you are now is of the non-expansional type, that is, it doesn't expand, we are working on it, but so far without much result... Then another Asian approaches and says: - So, do they know what the name of their dimension is? - Unfortunately not Miu Shinan, human beings don't focus their thoughts on elementary questions like what is the meaning of life or the name they are going to give their dimension. - Martinez Liu answers with a sad look on his face - Well, for your joy we maintain all the thousands of existing universes and your universe is humbly named by us as the material universe, due to the amount of matter existing both on your planet and outside of it. - Uh... Mr. Martinez Liu, excuse me, but these doors are in what? - Lary asks timidly - They lead to all universes, each one is a gateway to one of the most varied universes that exist. - Yes, and which one is our universe? - I ask, a little desperate to get home. Then the other two Asians approach me and with a rather worried expression exchange glances, and one of them replies: - Hello I am Lang Sin and he is Manitsu and we were fixing an anomaly in the door leading to your universe, however an error in our calculations ended up opening a random portal in your universe and one of our helpers pulled one of you by mistake into the time vacuum, then something happened and you were brought into our universe and unfortunately your entry was transported through the time vacuum to one of the doors in our universe. -And what is the time vacuum? - asks Lary - Yes, the time vacuum is the space that exists between one universe and another. - Answers Miu Shinan - Great, so we'll have to test every single door until we find the one in our universe? - says Sarah without much enthusiasm. - Hey Sarah, don't be so upset! At least we have the chance to go back home and, as a bonus, we will get to know a lot of new universes that nobody in our world would ever have the opportunity to know! -I speak trying to cheer her up with my amazing talent of seeing a positive side in almost everything. Sarah and Lary look at me with a bit of sadness mixed with frustration in their eyes which makes me a little uncomfortable, because I know that the situation is bad and that the chance of both of us being stuck forever in a completely confusing universe is very high but beyond this reality there is also the possibility that we will return home in perfect condition and this experience will be nothing more than a crazy memory to be talked about in our more private conversations.
