I felt his presence before his voice resonated through my room, “We have signed the deal with Ms. Martins, and your mother and I decided to leave town today. I’m needed in Asia but I will be stopping by the headquarters before moving to Asia.”
Slowly, I turned away from my laptop and looked at my Dad. I knew he was expecting me to talk about the deal but all I said was, “Okay.”
