Plans Change, Life Happens
The next morning, Sam arose before the girls, made a cup of coffee, and went downstairs to his office. An article in his news feed caught his eye. The title was, “Texas man, accused of bigamy found not guilty.” The story said that the judge in the case decided in the man’s favor because he had married his first wife in Texas but had married his second wife in Las Vegas. Since he had married his wives in two different states, one of them being Nevada, the judge deemed him married to only his first wife in Texas and was not guilty of bigamy. The concept made Sam think about things in an entirely differently. Could he marry both Caitlin and Cat? At least he had a lead on a possibility.
