It ends there, Vitya and Amanda's story. He really dies, doesn't come back.
He made his grave, and he had to lie in it.
Perhaps the world as a whole won't remember Vitya Volkov in the grand scheme of things.
He was villain to some— to most.
But a little boy and girl would remember him as the hero. Their Momma would tell them stories of the Great Wolf, who loves them more than anything.
Little Vitya, and Anastasia, loved their Daddy even though they never met him.
He scaled mountains, crossed deserts. He infiltrated the enemy base, and saved the world more than a few times.
Amanda kept her promise. Vitya Volkov's legacy was carried on, and he was a source of comfort to his children even in the grave.
They knew their Father was a good man.
In the minds and hearts of Amanda, Vitya and Anastasia he was immortalized, his memory never fading.
To the three people who were his world he would never be forgotten.
And truly, isn't that all that matters?
THE END.
