“Why the f**k did you allow her to mindlink the Alpha, even after I told you to keep her weak with wolfsbane? And who among you gave away her location? How could you be so stupid!” I snarled into the phone. “He’s coming right now, and I suggest you leave that place as soon as possible.”
“We don’t have another location in mind right now.”
“f**k!” I roared. “Then find one. You screwed this up how the hell is that supposed to be my fault?”
“You don’t get to scream at us like that,” the rogue growled back. “We are not your subjects. We screwed up, yes, but don’t curse at us. You asked us to do this. Do you even realize how risky it is? We willingly took that risk.”
“You took it for a price, don’t you remember?” I smirked into the receiver. “Nothing comes free to you.”
