Eryx POV
After a while, I regretted promising her that I wasn't going to sleep because at this point I was seriously trying to keep my eyes wide open. I just drifted off to sleep. I was later woken up by her.
“Eryx, you said you weren't going to sleep,” she said, staring at me with care.
“I'm sorry, I couldn't hold it. I was feeling really sleepy.”
“Okay, that's not a problem. How's your back?” she asked me.
“Relieved a bit,” I replied.
“Well, that's a nice step.”
She brought me food and also hers on two different plates. When we were done eating, she packed up the plates and left for the kitchen. She was so nice; I'm glad I had met her. I didn't know how I would have cooked with all of this.
When she was done, she came to where I sat. “You good?” she asked.
“Yeah, I am. Thank you
