Eryx POV I woke to her warmth. She curled into my chest, still wearing my shirt, her hair a mess against my arm like she’d claimed the space without asking. My wolf stirred lazily, satisfied, possessive in the quiet way that didn’t need teeth or force. I stayed still for a moment, just watching her breathe. Eventually she shifted, lashes fluttering before her eyes opened.
