The second screening of the rogue territory started in the morning. We arrived at the rogue territory very early in the morning, and the air was cold and still as the three of us moved through the abandoned grounds. Me, Rudy, and Xavier.
No one said anything. We just scrutinized the place.
I stepped over one of the broken logs, my eyes scanning the surroundings carefully.
Luckily, there was no strange movement or scent, which meant we were good to go. But either way, we just had to make sure the place was safe. We never knew what to expect, especially since the rogue Alpha had ruled here, and his allies might try to take it back from us. We were very careful while checking the whole place to avoid any cunning movement.
