Karen POV “You didn’t tell me the main reason you came,” I said, turning away from him as I sat on the bed. My heart was still racing from the brief make out we had earlier, but I tried to sound calm, almost unaffected. His eyes, however, didn’t make that easy. They followed every movement I made, so intense and unwavering that a shiver ran down my spine. “You’re beautiful,” he whispered, his voice low yet clear enough to make my breath hitch.
