“Captain Maya!” Maya stopped walking when she heard a familiar girl’s voice calling out to her respectfully.
She turned around and saw her patrol teammate Maelyn running towards her, waving her hand from far.
“Maelyn” Maya stood waiting for the girl to reach her. The girl came running before she stopped opposite Maya, running out of breath.
“I..I.I was..searching everywhere for you, captain” Maelyn raised her head after her breath was controlled.
“Why were you looking for me, Maelyn? And also what was so important that you had to run all the way here?” Maya asked the younger girl who just smiled.
