Maya looked at her friends faces. Calum seemed like he didn't care but she knew he kept an ear to hear her. Aiden and Ryan looked curious while Aria felt particularly enthusiastic about him.
" He actually arrived before you guys but he got an emergency message so he had to leave " Maya answered feeling apologetic.
" Was that a work related one ? " Ryan asked wondering.
" Maybe but if it was anything regarding lab or research, I would've got the message as well " Maya said.
" Too bad, I wanted to see him " Aria pouted a bit seeing her plans of observing Nathaniel and his feelings towards Maya had failed.
" We'll get another chance " Aiden said but inside he was curious to meet that person as well.
