For the past year, Atlantis had been buzzing about the upcoming wedding between Princess Alana to a nobleman named Talon. Talon was the son of the head of the Stratos. Basically, when he took over from his father, he was going to be one of the most powerful men in all of Atlantis.
The wedding took place two weeks after Ahab raised the workloads. Using the wedding was their best opportunity. Of course, no one in the Rising was personally invited to the wedding except for Adam, who was Alana’s older brother. Ahab, now knowing that Adam was with the Rising, made a formal statement across Atlantis that he was calling a truce between him and his son because Alana wanted her brother to be at her wedding.
