L͟o͟l͟a͟ I'm brought out of my reverie by something dropping onto me. I look around me and see nothing but I'm hit again. I put a hand out and another raindrop falls into it. I glance up and realize how overcast the sky has become, with only a patch of sunlight left on the path in front of me. I had assumed that it was the shadows from naked maple trees that hang over every sidewalk in the park. I can't help but stare. I watch as the clouds cover the last open bit of blue sky like a beautifully placed puzzle piece. It's a seamless transition and that simple beauty brings a smile to my face.
