It took two and a half days for Emerson’s heat to subside, two and a half days of nothing but s*x, room service and naps. I was sore in muscles I didn’t even know existed. After the first day, while Emerson was napping, the manager came up to let me know that there had been some noise complaints from below us. We didn’t have the benefit of the soundproofing here as we did at the packhouse, and Emmy was a screamer. Given that this was my families hotel, I requested that the manager comp the stay for all the guests below us and asked that he relocate them to a lower floor until we left.
