A Little Surprise

When I got up this morning I looked around the house to see if Ethan was here and he wasn’t. I was really glad he wasn’t so I thought to myself “ thank god he was just kidding”. Today is Saturday so I decided to call my best friend in the whole wide world Bobby. When Bobby got to the house I told her everything that happened last night

“ dang Kai your a player” she said while laughing

“ i’m no player besides I didn’t even know Dylan was coming back and I told Ethan to stay upstairs”. Since it was only 2:34 we decided to go to the mall and window shop for awhile.

" Do you think he’ll pop up at your house again?” Bobby said as we were getting in the car

“ I don’t know but if he does well, I don’t know what I would do” I said sounding a little scared. As we were heading back to my house I kept thinking about Dylan and what he may do if he did show back up at my house. We got back to my house around 5 and there was a 2018 dodge charger sitting in my driveway. I knew it wasn’t my mom because well she’s out of the country.

“ Ummm Bobby do you think it’s” I said scared out of my ass “ ok kaira calm down we’re gonna go into that house and see who’s in there and beat a b***h ass ok” she said while dragging me to the front door. When I unlocked the door and walked in the air smelt like food

“ girl I think he’s cooking for you” she said pushing me in front of her while walking towards the kitchen “ Bobby b***h if we die just know that I love you very much” I said. When we got to the kitchen I saw somebody in kinda dressed up clothes “ETHAN?!” Bobby and I said. "Kaira your home" he said as while walking over to me to give me a hug

"well mystery solved but I guess I should be getting outta i'm tired you know" Bobby said as she was walking out.

" you don't have to go you can stay it seems like there is enough food for you too" I said trying to convince her to stay because I didn't want to be left alone with Ethan right now.

"no Kaira she's gonna go home" he said while walking her to her car. While he was outside I decided to look around and see what he has done while we were gone.

"Omg he didn't" I said in amazement while walking into the dining room. He had rose pedals on the floor, tulips in the center of the table, and the food on the table. I continued to follow the trail of pedals which led to the living room " he didn't. i-i-i don't believe it" I said. He had my favorite song on, chocolate covered strawberries on the table, and a blanket fort that had little lights in it.

"Do you like it" he said as he came into the room behind me.

"I love it thank you so much" i said in amazement. when I turned around I saw him on one knee while pulling a ring out of his pocket

" Kaira I've been wanting to do this for a long time now and after what happened last night I knew today would be the day. I want to be the best you ever had no matter what. And before you get the wrong idea no it's not an engagement ring it's a promise ring. So with that being said Kaira, I promise to be there for you thru the good and the bad times no matter what because you mean more than the world to me and I really want you to be mine so Kaira would you go out with me?"

I've always wanted to go out with Ethan and today he just got down on one knee and did the best thing anyone has ever done for me how could I ever say no.

"Ethan I like you a lot to and I'm willing to give this a shot" I said. He slid the ring on my finger and kissed me.

"I promise you won't regret this" he said as we walked into the dining room to eat. The only things that went thru my mind was I'm actually dating Ethan now and what will Dylan think.
