Sasha woke up to soft murmurings around her, she tried to open her eyes but her eyelids felt so heavy, after trying for a while and still couldn’t open them, she gave up with a soft sigh, “have you called him?” She recognized the voice as her mother in-law’s, “where is he?” Who could she be asking about? She wondered.
“He didn’t pick when I called, he sent me straight to voicemail,” although she doesn’t chat more with her father in-law but she will know his voice anywhere.
“What do you think happened?” Now that was her mother, it’s been so long she had seen her and hearing her voice now made her want to bury herself in her arms and cry her heart out, she tried to open her eyes again to see her face but she couldn’t.
“Hannah said they had a fight right before he left,” Vanessa answe
