Leaving Dex and Ariah, I knew something was wrong. I'd tried linking both Dane and Aiden, but no response from either of them had made my worry grow.
Heading towards the location I knew they were investigating, I shifted and let Kreed take over.
Racing through the forest, it only took Kreed a few minutes to find what we were looking for.
Nothing could have prepared me for what I saw, though. Three scouts lay lifeless on the ground, injuries to shocking to comprehend. A short distance away, I could see Aiden leaning against a tree, barely clinging to life. Approaching him with caution, I check over his injuries before looking for Dane.
It didn't take long to find him, his injuries looking less severe than the others but still not good.
