It's been three days since we visited the archives, and I had that scary encounter. I continue to try and convince myself that my eyes we playing tricks on me, but my instinct knows better.
My mates have been amazing and thankfully not pressing me on why I was so shaken from that night. Deakin has been leaving early in the morning to oversee the warrior trainings, but then returns to spend the afternoons with me. Dane has done the opposite, spending the mornings with me before heading out to attend to pack business in the afternoon.
I don't know if their schedules have always worked this way, but they don't seem to want to leave me by myself, which I honestly appreciate.
