6: Cooper
I return to my apartment. Or rather to our apartment, now that Elinor lives there with me. I know she’ll join me there as soon as she’s finished celebrating her reunion with Neeve and her brother, whom she’s decided to invite for the night. I hope, however, that she will not multiply these invitations. I feel the reluctance of the pack, everything is going too fast, and the rumour mustn’t spread immediately to other territories either. I can’t wait for her to join me. I can’t wait to free her face from her long, almost white hair, I can’t wait to kiss her closed eyelids, I can’t wait to tell her that she dazzles me, and that if I hadn’t already been head over heels in love with her, I would fall in love everytime we met. Seeing her like this, so simply happy, evolving with confidence in
