Twenty I studied the note that Derek had given me. He’d scribbled down an address in his illegible handwriting. If I didn’t know better, I’d have guessed he was a doctor or a pharmacist. “Fifth… Sixth…” I counted the house numbers, until I found myself faced with one of the bigger banks of the city. Found it.
