Seven The sound of the heavy metal doors being pushed open made me jump in the air. “Just me,” Derek said as he came in. “Oof.” The adrenaline and nerves were making me twitchy, something I had to shake before Radclyffe got here. I couldn’t look weak while he was here or he’d know something was up. “Did you bring everything?” I asked, realising just how nervous I was. I needed that little shake in my voice to disappear soon. Derek patted his bag. “Microphones, bugs, recorders. We just need to set it up. Here, we need to put up these cameras in every room. Like CCTV.
