I couldn't believe I was about to do this. I'd never thought I would. Mostly because the Vampire Court didn't respond well to people who didn't hold seats calling their meetings for them. It wouldn't matter to them that in the future, I would sit on one of them. For now, I was nothing more than the heir to the Coretine chair.
