It has been a week since we had an outing, and I spent all my time in work. Hedrin was always there to pick me up and have dinner with me after work. I always thank God for sending him and for making him a genius. He was able to convince Alfonso that he will pursue medicine in the Philippines, and now he's doing great.
He closed his eyes for a while as he massaged his head. We are already in the parking lot of my condo unit.
"Did you sleep well yesterday?" He's more like a younger brother to me now than an ex-boyfriend. The dark circles under his eyes explained the hardship and sleepless nights in college. Nevertheless, I am so proud of him for pursuing what he loves. Uncle Gabriel is also so proud of him that he just gives everything that Hedrin asks.
