Chapter 17

1305 Words
"It's the most wonderful time of the year!" what you're hearing isn't the song, no, that's my 49 year old brother, Benjamin, dressed as Santa Claus as he dances around the mansion, acting like a ballerina with his big belly. "Hoes, hoes, hoes!" he shouted and I burst out laughing, "I'm surrounded by hoes!" "Benjamin!" his wife shouted, and I watched as she ran around the corner trying to stop him. I smiled, shaking my head as I adjusted my boobs in the front. I made sure my scarf matched perfectly with today's gown. The dress that I was wearing was heavily decorated with diamonds, and everything about it made me feel regal, beautiful and sexy. It was tight in all the right places to show my figure, and covered my body modestly. I walked out of my bedroom, realizing that I was a bit late because I had been too busy with my make-up and trying to look exceptional for today. We were going to take a family portrait and there was no way I wasn't going to look my best for it. When I stepped out of my bedroom I was met with fairy lights throughout the house, and the atmosphere was much more enthusiastic than it was last night. All of my nieces and nephews were dressed in their expensive designer clothing and not even a single hair of theirs was out of place. My nieces held small little handbags, and the boys wore chains and jackets I was sure must've cost a whole lot more than you should spend on a child. Everyone was definitely rushing to open their gifts. When I stepped out of my bedroom, it was like I'd stepped into winter wonderland. My parents always put in a lot of thought and effort when it came to these things. And I could hear the planners and decorators busy the entire early morning, trying to make this work. And make it work they did because it was glorious.  My dress matched with the theme and I held my hand out, catching the fake snow that was falling down as I carried on walking down the hallway.  Did I mention I was late? But then again, a Queen is never early.  When I entered the ballroom where a massive Christmas tree was set up in the middle and everyone was running around chaotically, others pulling and laughing at each other, my eyes met a certain pair of emerald coloured eyes. The only eyes in the world that made it seem like the world stops whenever I look into them.  This man affects me more than I'd like to admit and I'm afraid because the last person that affected me like this broke my heart into a million pieces.  And I know this man is trouble, but I can't seem to shake him off.  "Czar," I breathed out as I looked him up and down, he looked very handsome, "you look...wow," I said to him as I looked up at him, unable to help my smile.  "Definitely can't compare to you right now," he lifted my hand, placing it on his lips, his eyes still holding mine captive.  "You're late," he told me after he kissed my hand, but didn't let it go, "your family already started opening their gifts."  I laughed, "patience is something the England's know nothing about," I told him as we started walking towards the rest of the family.  My mother smiled when she saw me, "oh, baby you look exceptional!" she gasped as she hugged me before she held up a box with diamond earrings and a diamond bracelet, "look what Czar bought for me," my mother said in excitement as she held up the diamond earrings and put them to her ear.  "And look what he got for you father," my mother turned, showing me a whole set of watches, "diamond watches, custom made, with your father's name and initials."  I looked at Czar in shock, "you bought them gifts?" I asked him.  "Oh honey, not just me and your father," my mother said as she pointed to everyone in the room, "he bought for all of us. This guy," she nudged me with her elbow, "he's a keeper."  "Czar, you didn't have to," I said as I turned to face him and he just shrugged. I felt bad because I know none of us bought him anything.  "I wanted to."  "But you didn't have to," I repeated and he just held out a small box for me, "not again, Czar."  "Just open it," he instructed and I held the box to my ear, shaking it, and it felt really light. I assumed from the light thumps inside, it was some kind of jewellery. I opened the box and picked up the contents inside, "uh, it's keys?" I asked him as I looked up at him and he nodded, "it's two sets of keys," I said again like he didn't understand and he nodded. "What are the keys for, Czar?" I asked him and he smirked. "Why don't you step outside," that sentence alone frightened me. I just knew that whatever he was going to show me was going to make me speechless. I didn't realize that everyone was looking at us right now and they seemed just as eager as myself. Czar held his hand out and I nervously swallowed, accepting his big hand as the whole family started following behind us to see what he'd bought. I was expecting a very lavish car, two of them actually. I mean, it's car keys right? Wrong. "A f*****g helicopter!" I heard someone scream as we stepped outside and the first thing we were met with was a brand new helicopter with a damn bow on it. "Czar!" I gasped my eyes open wide in shock. "Look up," he told me. "What's there?" I asked him, only seeing an airplane in the far distance. "You see that thing over there," he asked me as he pointed at the plane that was getting closer to us, "That's your private jet." ~~~ I think my whole family is still in shock about what transpired in the morning. If anything, I think my father and mother have fallen in love with him for me because he's proven that he's the wealthiest in the family and my family is attracted to money. I was thrown off guard by the extravagant gifts from Czar, but I knew better than to accept his gifts. I'd give him back the keys when he was leaving to go back to his hotel, but right now I was more concerned about other things. Like the news I wanted to deliver in a matter of minutes. We were all sitting around the dinner table, feasting and relaxed after the long day filled with dancing, but we'd probably dance again after we ate. I cleared my throat before I stood up and clanked a teaspoon against my glass and the whole room turned to look at me because I was standing and waiting for them to notice me. I cracked a nervous smile as I looked around the room at all of their faces. "There's an announcement I'd like to make," I began as I put the glass down and delicately played with my earring before I gave them my full undivided attention, "I've been thinking about how I'd tell you guys about this and I realized I wanted to reveal the news to everyone when we were all together as a family. I didn't want to tell any of you, any time sooner because I wasn't entirely sure," I paused, unable to stop my excited and happy grin, "mum, dad," I turned to look at them and then at my siblings, "I'm having a baby!" ~~~
