Chapter 2: Birthday

Isabella's POV

*BEEP, BEEP, BEEP*

I rolled over and smacked my alarm clock so hard I now have to buy a new one. Just great this is the last thing I wanted to happen on my birthday. OMG ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

I am so excited because this is the day I have been waiting for my whole life. This is the day I could find my mate.

I jumped out of bed and ran to my closet to get my clothes out before my shower. I grab my favorite red crop top with my matching blood red bra and pantie set, along with my black heels and light blue skinny jeans. Once I have my clothes out I turn the hot water on to heat up. I went on a run in my wolf form last night so my muscles are sore from how much they worked.

I suppose I should probably tell you about my wolf Tessa. Her fur is a midnight sky shade of black, and she has grey eyes. She is one feisty wolf. She is one of those wolves that if you don't know her you might think she's a b***h, but she's actually super sweet.

Oh s**t! I totally forgot that I had water running. I really hope that I haven't run out of hot water. I step in and to my surprise it is still hot as ever. I just sit there and let my muscles loosen up while the hot water runs down my back for a few minutes.

After my shower I ran down stairs.

"Good morning guys" I said to my family that was sitting at the kitchen table.

"Good morning sweetheart." my mother said to me as she sat my fathers black coffee. "How did you sleep last night?"

"Tessa was kinda restless, so not to good." I kindly replied.

Shut it, human. Tessa said to me in an unusually chipper tone.

"Well it's probably because its your birthday. Maybe that means your mate really is in our pack." mom said in a hopeful sweet voice.

"Well if that's true then this really is going to be one hell of a birthday"

"Language young lady! That is not how the daughter of the beta speaks, especially in front of her parents." my father snapped. I wonder what his problem is this morning.

All of the sudden the most magnificent sent hit my nose. I turn my head to find the source of the blueberry cheesecake sent. Tessa is passing in the back of my mind and its giving me a migraine.
