Chapter 14The last time Henry’d gone to the astronomy tower, he could barely make it there with Theo at his side. Today, he was nearing the fifth floor—without any huffing and puffing, coughing, dizziness—by himself. He still had Theo’s umbrella in his hand, metaphorically and magically speaking, but also somewhat literally: Theo’d anchored it to his fingertips. Henry wasn’t ready to let go of it yet. His magic sang a joyous, blissful tune, delighted at being used after all this time.
