“Master Theodore,” he greeted. “How lovely it is to see you again, sir.” “Good evening, Mr Kentington,” Theo replied. He’d put back on that invisible armor, the marquess’s mask, the one that sent a shiver down Henry’s spine: not his Theo, not the real Theo. “I trust you’re well.” “I am, thank you. Might I take your and your guest’s coats, sir?” Already lifting his arms, Theo nodded and Mr Kentington circled around him to remove his coat and hand it to a footman, then came to Henry to do the same.
