"You young woman are getting married next week. " **************** "I beg your pardon?" "Darling, go bring the papers." My father said and eyed me with evil eyes. Dei got up and went to the study then came back a few moments later with a folder. One that I recognized all to well. "But this is the contract you made me sign when I went to school when I was 18" I said and he smirked. "You remembered. Now read clause 36" I did as he said and my heart stopped. My blood ran cold and I thought I had died at that moment. How could he be so cruel. He took advantage of me when I was in difficulty. "See you next week at your wedding. You may leave my house now" my father told me coldly and the evil smirk could not be removed from Dei's face. "I understand now" I stated my voice void of any emotions. "Birds of the same feather flock together. And you two birds are of the most evil I know. But don't worry. I am a good shooter and I won't hesitate to take down two birds with one stone. You will pay for this Darrel Blackwood. " With that I moved out of their house with my head held high. ********* Nikki gasped in horror as she listened to the story of her friend. The bastard had made her sign papers agreeing she would marry the Aragon heir if they paid for her studies. It means that not only had her father not paid her school fees but he had also sold her and taken money from her. And he told her just one week before so she couldn't start any formal procedures with her lawyer to cancel the contract. The bastard had it all planned. She couldn't back out or she'll have to pay 100 billion dollars and she couldn't provide that. So the only solution was to get married. And look for a way out of the deal later. But she knew it wasn't going to be easy. The Aragon heir was known to be a total sexist. He believed women were inferior and that they had to submit to every man's wish. She knew him too well. He was her most fervent business rival. Her arch nemesis. Finn Aragon. ****************** Avery's POV Tears threatened to spill as I stared at myself in the mirror. My blue eyes stood out oddly against my tan brown skin giving it a glowing look. But I couldn't bring myself to cry as it will not only ruin my make up (not that i cared) but I will give my father the satisfaction of seeing me get hurt. The paparazzi had been following me the whole week so I could give them more details about my sudden marriage plans and I had to lie of course. "You look beautiful today my dear daughter", my father said as he entered the room. I ignored him and took my bouquet of red and white roses and moved away only to be stopped when his filthy hands made contact with my skin. "Don't touch me" I said through gritted teeth and moved my arm away from his filthy hands. "I am still your father young woman. " he said through gritted teeth. "No. You stopped being my father exactly seven years ago. The day you killed my mother." Why do all my birthdays have to be such sad days for me. First my mother's death and now this. Yes. Today is my birthday. I'm turning 25 today and I'm getting married. I held my tears as my father took me down the altar. "Take care of her. She is the apple of my eyes" my father said and I refused to look up at him. Hypocrite! I just stared at the ground the whole time. Well that was until the vows were to be pronounced. I looked up at him and my eyes almost jumped out of their sockets. I had never seen him before because sir was too stuck up to move to New York to meet a woman. This man was more handsome than I could have ever thought. He had dark hair and smoldering black eyes that left me dumbstruck. But his stare was cold as he was glaring at me. That's when I realised I had to say my vows. I pronounced my vows and we exchanged rings. "I declare you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride now" the priest said and he gave me a tight lipped peck on the side of my lip. When he pulled back, I was left in a daze. I glared at him even though I was blushing. Everyone came to congratulate the newly wedded couple. The evening went by smoothly. My dear husband had somehow managed to have a serious choke on his food so I had to dance with one of my in laws who kept eyeing me like I was a piece of meat. Did I forget to mention I had absolutely lovely in laws. His mother, sister and everyone else from his family were either glaring at me or having a dissaproving look in their eyes. I greeted and hugged some of my friends and knowing I wasn't going to be back in New York for some time. A long period of time actually. I was about to walk out when Dei came over and dragged my hand "No need trying seducing him. He would never be interested in a little b***h like you anyways" I couldn't help but smirk. "Oh really. Well. He's my husband and he will eventually come to me to fufill his needs..." I said trailing off and her expression was priceless. "Don't try any thing or you'll regret it like your b***h of a mother did..." I didn't wait for her to end her sentence as I threw the nearest champagne fluke on her make-up caked face. Instantly her make up started flowing down to reveal her real face. How I wished it was her soul instead. I left the hotel with Finn later that night and we rode to the airport in complete silence. Once we were inside the plane I tried to make a little conversation. I'll spend the next few months of my life with him afterall. "Sooo-" I dragged the o trying to spark the conversation. He turned to me with a thunderous glare in his eyes that almost made me flinch. Almost. Out of nowhere, he tossed papers at me. I looked at them and my eyes bulged out of their sockets. How to be a perfect wife. 1) Speak only when spoken to. What the hell?!!! ♡☆☆☆♡☆☆☆♡☆☆☆♡☆☆☆♡☆☆ Hello everyone. Hope y'all loved this chapter. Text of the day: Mark 7: 14-30. Very important ? ?
