Richard started the engine and we zoomed off.
"That jerk! What was he thinking, showing up at our door? He thinks you would forgive him or what?" Anna ranted.
"I don't know what got into his skull. It's been two months since I last saw him. He wasn't even remorseful for the fact that he cheated on me and maybe tried chasing me back, and now he just came back, trying to apologize. Isn't that an insult to my ego?" I exclaimed, breathing heavily.
