Chapter 3 The next morning Tessa's POV The sun hitting my face is what interrupts the blissful sleep that I'm currently having. With a groan, I turn my head away from the light and hit a hard surface that has my eyes jerking open. My eyes narrow at the dark brown arm that's right up against my face because I'm currently snuggling against it. Blinking, I trace that arm up and meet Damien's face. That's when everything starts rushing back and I cover my mouth with my palm. I can't believe I went through with it. I did it. I lose my virginity with a stranger. A stranger who could wake up at any moment and see the blood stain on the bed. Explaining that to him is a scenerio that I'm definitely not looking forward to. This might be my first hookup but I'm well aware that the awkward morning talk is something that should be avoided at all cost. Holding my breath, I peel my body away from him arm with my eyes fixed on his face. My breath rushes out of me once I successfully untangle my body from his. Climbing out of the bed, I reach for my dress that was discarded on the ground and turn white when I find it shredded to bits. I think back to last night when Damien had been impatient to figure out how the dress works and had just ripped it off my body. It was hot as f**k when he did it last night but with a clear mind, I'm wondering why the f**k didn't he just ask me to take it off? Throwing the dress back onto the ground in annoyance, I look back at the bed and find Damien still fast asleep. Sighing in relief, I look around the massive room and start contemplating my next move when my gaze lands on the huge wardrobe pushed to the end of the room. Without thinking about it, I rush over there and push the door open only to be met with different shades of suits and blazers. Does he live on just suits? Come to think of it, who goes to a club with suit? A few minutes of ruffling around in the wardrobe and I find a plain white t-shirt and some jeans shoved to the back of the wardrobe. Left with no other choice, I snatch the shirt t-shirt and quickly put it on while trying not to feel guilty about the fact that I'm basically stealing from Damien. That guilt dies when I realize that he can probably buy a million plain white t shirt if he chooses to. He isn't going to miss this one. I tiptoe over to my purse on the chair on the room and pick it up. Then I walk over to the door and stop to grab a long brown coat that's hanging on a coat rack. He probably won't even notice that it's gone. Stepping out of the room, I quickly put on the coat and run towards the big door that led me into this my current nightmare. Once I'm out of the house, I hail a cab and let out my first real breath once I'm safely tucked into the cab. I call out the address to the house I share with my soon to be ex boyfriend and sag into the seat in relief. As the cab starts heading towards my destination, I open up my purse and bring out my phone. Turning it on, I gasp at the number of missed call. I have twelve of them from Anna, my best friend and twenty from Luke, my soon to be ex boyfriend. Ignoring the calls from Luke, I click on Anna's name and press the call button. Her phone barely rings for a second before she answers it. "Where the f**k have you being?!" Her loud voice flows through the speakers and into the tiny space in the cab. I whine and shoot the driver an apologetic smile when he looks at me through the mirror. "I'm so sorry I didn't answer your calls," I beg, trying to pacify her. "Why did you?" She hollers. "Also, where the f**k where you? Luke called and told me that you didn't go back to the apartment. He was really worried. Heck, we were all scared that something happened to you." Guilt weighs down on my heart. Last night, the only thing on my mind was getting rid of my virginity. I didn't put any thoughts into calling Anna and telling her about my plans. "First, I'm ok and I'm on my way back to my apartment." "Where did you spend the night at?" The suspicion in her voice is clear as day. The backseat of a cab is not the ideal place to retell my eventful night. Also, I could make out the view of my apartment up ahead. "Anna, I promise I'll tell you everything later but I really need to end this call." "Are you alright?" She sounds concerned now and I smile. She might be mad at me but she will always put that aside is she thinks that I'm battling with something. "I'm fine," I promise. "Ok. You better call me back within the next hour or else, I'm matching over to your apartment and dragging you on the ground with your hair." I laugh even though I'm not very sure that she means it as a joke. I say a quick goodbye and end the call. The cab driver comes to a stop in front of my house and I hand him some cash and mutter a quick thanks. Stepping out, I walk towards the house that I've lived in for the past two months. Turning the knob, I push the door open and walk in. I shut the door behind me and turn around to find a red faced Luke glaring at me. "Who the f**k did you spend the night with?!"
