Making a plan

We all ate our food silently mom and Thelma kept picking their plates without eating. I dropped my spoon down " what's with the heavy moods?" Thelma looked up for the first time and burst into tears i quickly went to embrace her and held her "don't go Bella please don't go it's too dangerous over there they'd kill you at the first chance they get to please I don't want to lose you" she held unto me crying like a child I looked at mom and she looked away and wiped her tears she stood up and went out I sighed it broke me to hurt the most important people in my life . "Thel you know I love you right and I want the best for you? she nodded quieting down a bit "this is for us, for my parents,my friend and the innocent people of Iyrolia suffering I need to do this " she held me tighter and sob some more before stopping "now,go blow your nose it's all red like a monkey's bottom" she laughed and got up . I looked outside and sighed I walked out and sat besides mom . she seemed very distant these days and rarely said a word I knew she was worried about me and it broke my heart .

I hugged her and she too like Thelma burst into tears "you know the very first day I laid my eyes on you I knew you'd be a great child you were out there on the lake for only God knows how long but still you beat the cold and all the fevers and you came alive in my arms I still remember how we hid you in a cave for about a year due to the king's decree of killing female babies somehow I don't know how we were never caught and you are up to be a beautiful daughter to me I never wanted to keep it from you but you accepted me wholeheartedly i couldn't tell you .. I'm sorry my princess I loved you and didn't want you to run off looking for a mother that abandoned you to fate that's why I didn't tell you" she sobbed more . I held her tightly "you will always be my mum royalty or no royalty and I'm sorry about all I said to you mom i don't mean any I love you and my sister so very much." I felt my throat go dry and i felt the hot tears on my cheeks mom kissed my forehead "I love you too baby and be safe when you get to Jues you know we are long time enemies" I smiled and headed back inside we all chattered late into the night and all went to bed .

Once in bed I thought about my whole life down to this point tomorrow I'd journey into the land of jeus and find father's family using the little ideas I got from the Queen's diary he was of a noble family the Arcgregor's lineage a line of warriors no wonder I had a fierce look it's from father's side my plan was to talk to the people of jeus and come to a truce with them we war against Norman and I'd give the gold mine to them in return. In size, Norman's army would be larger and more equipped, from my research i could deduce that the mine was Jues main source of income and now its been taken from them forcefully i sighed and weighed it all what if nobody believes I'm Gregor's child ,why did the people turn against him in the first place, will they accept me as one of their own,who would look after my family when I'm gone sure they wouldn't lack food for at least a month been that I'd doubled my raids going daily for almost 2 weeks to get all they'd need I couldn't risk allowing any of them going to the town if in 2 month time I don't return they'd go back to Iyrolia and face the laws of the tyrant king I coiled deeper into my bed and was soon asleep.

By morning, I was indecisive whether to carry on with the plan or not . Mom had given me description on how to get to Jues and what parts to avoid cause of the war "remember no drinking of water from ponds or lakes that doesn't contain fishes and stay off the railway that leads to the mine it's bloody down there" I nodded and looked over to Thelma she made a crocky sound as she held back tears so with Mom they both stood side by side and for the first time i noticed I was nothing like them they were both blonde and i was a brunette with dark brown hair,they both made the same sound when they cry and have the same airy laughter ,they both had blue eyes and mine was green dad had been left handed and so is Thelma I was the odd one out and i didn't notice any of it till this moment i sighed on getting to the Rocky valley I've never been a fan of climbing but it was worth it I steadily climbed up taking extra care not to slip off and fall and not to drop my supplies that was tied steadily to my back. On getting to the top I could see the land of Jues from the top but it was a long way down i started moving mechanically into what I considered an enemy's territory .
