My men will take you back to your apartment,” Viktor said. “Think about what we discussed tonight. Make good choices, Mia. Your future depends on it.” The hands on her arms were firm but not painful. They lifted her from the chair and guided her toward the exit. Her legs moved mechanically, one foot in front of the other, her mind still reeling from everything Viktor had said.
