Chapter 27Zofia's stomach loopty-looped when she lowered her head to enter the portal. She felt the tell-tale tingle of the ley line, which housed the portal. Since Richard was an Ugwump, he could not enter the Portal. She felt safe to continue without his following her. Good riddance. The Stone's glow lent a soft luminescence to a tunnel of solid limestone. A cool draft surrounded her, wafting an odd, moist scent to it. A cave? She hated caves. There was no telling what lie ahead.
