Seconds later, Beatrice regained herself and she was stable again.
"Doctor...." Her voice cracked as she stared solemnly at the doctor.
"It's good news my dear. Some women can't even have one child but here you are carrying triplets.
My dear, you should be happy and grateful.
Look at me for instance, I've been married for five years without a child to call my own.
So, you should be thankful.
I know you aren't married and you got pregnant due to a r**e incident but that shouldn't make you feel sad.
Carry the children with joy in your heart.
You'll definitely enjoy them when they are grown up.
Motherhood is nice.
Stay strong if not for anything but for your babies." The doctor expound with a smile.
She took Beatrice hands in her her's and rubbed it affectionately.
"Thank you doctor Rita. Your soothing words are more than enough for me.
And don't worry, you'll have your own child and even children at the right time.
And the right time is near." Beatrice cooed affectionately.
Doctor Rita smiled in between her tears and nodded her head.
"I'm not even ready to have a child but now I'm expecting triplets.
I don't know if it's a good news or a bad one.
I didn't think I'll be able to take good care of a child but now I'm expecting three.
I don't know if I'll be a good mother.
Will I be able to bring up my children rightly?
I'm so scared. What if I become a bad mother?" Beatrice cried softly.
"Shuuu...... You're gonna do perfectly fine.
You're gonna be a great mother because you're great.
I, your father and Ariana are gonna be there for you.
We all are gonna help bring up your children." Her mother encouraged and wiped her tears, then hugged her.
"Don't think negative. Be optimistic about your future with your children.
You're gonna do great and be a great mother.
Just believe in yourself." Doctor Rita advised with a smile.
.
.
After eating lunch, Beatrice went tiredly to bed.

"Beatrice is expecting triplets?!" Beatrice father gasped loudly in shock.
"Calm down will you? You don't want her to hear your voice, do you?" Her mother reprimanded softly.
They were both in their bedroom and they were discussing when her mother suddenly brought up Beatrice topic.
"I'm so shocked. Oh my God! How did she take the news?
You know she didn't even want to have a child talk more of children." Her father said gently and exhaled deeply.
"Well, she was shocked and wasn't really too happy.
But after I and the doctor advised her, she brightened up." Her mother said.
"What a relief! Thank goodness." Her father retorted and sighed softly in relief.
He didn't want to even think of the negative words that Beatrice might have said.
But he's glad that she accepted the babies, that's a relief.
.
.
Beatrice parents pampered her and made her feel loved as the day of her delivery drew nearer.
Her tummy was very big and round and it was sure look like she was carrying triplets.
Beatrice tried all her best to free her mind from any negative feelings towards her unborn children.
She's gonna take care of them and treat them nicely and also makes sure they have the best of life.
She, her mother and sister went shopping alot to buy baby things.
They bought both the necessary and unnecessary things that children needed.
They created a spare room in the house as the nursery room.
She was getting prepared to welcome her children into this world.
She hopes that none of them would look like Jasper.
She wouldn't be able to take it.
She bought clothes, socks, shoes, toys, diapers and wipes and many more for her babies.
She bought same clothes for the girls since, she was gonna be having two girls.
She also bought unisex identical clothes for the children.
She couldn't wait to have them in her arms.
As her delivery date drew nearer, she became scared!
She was scared of the pains she was gonna pass through.
But she hopes the pain wouldn't be excruciating like the one Jasper inflicted on her during the r**e!
Else, she might just decide to die!

*Don't be optimistic!* She admonished herself.
She sighed softly and rubbed her palm on her big protruding belly.
"I can't wait to have you in my arms." She said softly with a smile.

Seven months into her pregnancy, she started having complications.
She was rushed to the hospital and it was advised that she stayed in the hospital till she put to birth.
Reason being that, so that the nurses can take good care of her and watch her closely and make sure of her safety before she gives birth.
Beatrice wasn't happy or comfortable with it but she had to oblige.
It was for her safety and her babies own.
She didn't want put her life and her children's life at stake because of her selfishness.
Her parents promised to always visit her and bring provisions and other necessities she needed.
She was always feeling bored being alone in the hospital and in her own ward.
The only thing that kept her busy sometimes were her phone and the small plasma television in her ward.
In her eight month, she decided and begged to go home.
She wasn't comfortable being in an hospital.
The doctor agreed and told her the date of her delivery.
After making sure there wasn't any complications and she was strong enough, she was discharged.
She felt so happy to be back home and to her family.
.
.
Beatrice and her parents prepared ecstatically for the arrival of her children.
One night, Beatrice went into labor.
She was shouting, crying and perspiring profusely.
She was feeling so much pain.
With the help of her parents, they took her to the car and drove her to the hospital.
She was placed on a stretcher and wheeled away into the delivery room.
Her parents panicked and waited restlessly outside for the news.
Minutes later, the doctor came out of her ward with her face devoid of any expression.
"Doctor how's she? Is she gonna be fine? What happened?
Had she been delivered of her babies?" Beatrice mother rushed her words agitatedly as she stared intently at the doctor.
"Calm down madam. She isn't too fine but she's gonna be fine." The doctor said and Beatrice mother's countenance dropped immediately.
"Doctor, what do you mean? What happened to her?" Her mother asked as tears welled up her eyes.
"Her v****a is still tight for the head of a baby to come out.
And she can't push. She's been crying that she doesn't have the strength to push.
She's too weak.
During her antenatal seesion, she was advised to have continual s*x so as to ease her child bearing.
It was supposed to help alot.
Pregnant women are always advised to have multiple s*x with their husbands but seems your daughter didn't do that." The doctor expounded.
"It wasn't her fault doc. It's a long story.
So, what are we gonna do?" Her mother asked.
"Well, you are gonna sign a paper for a cesarean operation to be carried out on her." The doctor said.
"Okay doc."
And with that, Beatrice mother signed the papers and an operation was quickly carried out on her.
______________
About an hour later, the cries of babies filled the air.
"Congratulations madam, sir. Your daughter has been delivered safely of a baby boy and two girls." The doctor beamed with smile and shook hands with Beatrice parents.
"Thank you doctor. Thank you so much." Her parents chorused elated.
Beatrice had passed out but currently, she was asleep.
She needed all the rest in the world......
She was seriously so exhausted and tired.
Thank goodness, nothing happened to her.
.
.
The boy was the first, then the two girls.
The triplets weren't one bit identical.
They just simply looked siblings.
The only thing they shared in common was their brown skin complexion.
They were brown skinned.
It ached Beatrice heart because her triplets weren't identical.
She badly needed identical triplets.
But she was thankful that none of them took after Jasper...
.
.
"What are you gonna name them?" Ariana asked with a smile as she carried the tiny little boy.
Her mother was with one of the girls and her father too was with one.
Beatrice was awake and she had regained a little strength.
Her children had been cleaned up and wore clothes.
They looked so cute and adorable.
Beatrice darted her eyes to her children and exhaled deeply...
"Truth be told, I haven't really thought about that.
So, as for now, I haven't chosen a name for them.
I don't have names for them.
I don't have any names on my head right now." Beatrice replied perfunctorily.
