Lily's POV
The first couple of days were awkward around the mansion. Casper would leave before I got up and come home late. I was bored out of my mind, so I decided to help the maids around the house. I had always helped around the house growing up since we didn't have maids or butlers. Although my life was now different. I wasn't going to change. I was mopping the foyer in some black yoga pants and a baseball tee that hung off my shoulders with my hair in a messy bun when Casper came in. It was the first time I had seen him since the first day.
I pushed my glasses up as they kept sliding down my nose from the sweat.
"What are you doing home so early?" I asked.
"I came home for some papers and thought I would stay for lunch. What are you doing?"
"Cleaning."
