THE UGLY LUNAR

#YOU DON'T KNOW HOW IT FEELS

I was laying down by the Fields corner and gazing at the beautiful stars and moon when I saw what almost made me jump out of my skin, it was Daniel.

he was leaning over me with a mischievous smile.

"oh my God you scared me"!!! i said I sat up.

"well you said you would do anything i say so I want you chicken dance" Daniel said as he held up a music player.

"what!! I can't do that" I said infuriatedly.

"nah ah ah, you promised, now dance" Daniel said as he played the music.

i started chicken dancing and it was horrible I frowned my face but Daniel kept on rolling on the floor laughing hysterically.

I stopped dancing after a while and when I turned,he was gone,it was weird but I didn't care.

I picked up the the music player and turned off the music and went to sleep.

The next day, I was giggling and having fun with my friends in class when Daniel suddenly appeared from no where and whispered in my ear.

"get me raw meat" Daniel said folding his arms and looked liked a predator about to attack its prey.

"where do you expect me to find raw meat" I said whispering back.

"go to the canteen duh" Daniel said still folding his arms.

"but class is about to start and what do you want to do with raw meat" I asked waiting for an answer.

"do what I say or else and no questions asked" he said as he stood up and went to his seat.

I reluctantly stood and told my friends I needed to pee. I went to the canteen and got the meat I went to his dorm room and kept it there, when I got to class I whispered in his ear that I kept it in his room and he smiled suspiciously.

soon class was over and I spotted Daniel going to his dorm room and I surreptitiously followed him. I was peeking at him and wanted to see what he was about to do to the meat, but to my astonishment,he started devouring it like a werewolf tearing up human meat.

I gasped and immediately covered my mouth,he noticed someone was watching him and turned, his eyes turned pale and his teeth as sharp as a vampire's with traces of Drool like that of an animal.

I was terrified by this look of Daniel and ran away, when I finally stopped I was panting and my uniform was drenched in sweat, I decided to go back to check on Daniel before my next class.

when I got to his dorm he was coming out and he seemed fine and even better than before, I was appalled and asked him.

"we need to talk Daniel" I said In a serious tone.

"what is it about" he said calmly as he looked so hot.

"why did you say I should get you raw meat " I asked sounding really serious as we were walking to class.

"I wanted to do an experiment" he said as he gazed on the road.

"I saw you devouring it like an animal" I said as I stopped him from walking.

"class is about to start Madison" he said as he removed my hand from his.

he walked ahead of me and got to class while I was still pondering on the incident.

soon school was over for the day and I changed into a casual wear, Daniel began to send me on different errands and I starting to get really mad but I kept it inside until he sent me on the last one.

" Madi, take this money and get me 5 cups of warm coffee,2 cappuccinos,1 latte and 2 americano for me and my friends". Daniel said as he handed me the money.

"but they don't sell coffees in the school" I said waiting for a response.

"well go outside and get it" he said as he handed me the money and walked away.

I was devastated,the cafe was far away from the school and the weather wasn't nice, but I had no choice so I went .

we weren't allowed to go out of the school so I had to tell my dad before going out of the school .

I bought the coffees and soon rain started to drizzle and before you know it, it was raining bucket and I was freezing in the rain I decided to stop by a convenience store to wait for the rain and there was a crowd there. some drunk guys were misbehaving and pushed me mistakenly, I fell hard and broke my knee,the guys turned and started laughing at me.

"who is this ugly freak" a guy said as all the crowds started laughing hysterically.

I figured out my makeup was gone due to the rain, I felt humiliated,tears rolled down my cheeks as I was still on the floor.

I took the coffee in my hand and stood up, I wanted to slap Daniel hard for doing this to me and luckily for me it was bedtime and everyone was asleep except for Daniel waiting for me on the bench in the Field. I limped cause of my broken leg and crying like a baby with all my clothes drenched and holding the coffees in my left arm.

when I got to where Daniel was sitting I furiously tossed the coffees across his face hitting his perfect nose. he screamed in pain.

"what are you doing ugh my nose" he screamed.

" you.....you made me suffer, I did everything you want but it's not still enough, I ....... I broke my leg because of you, I am soaked because of you,I hate you,why are you using my own pain against me.....do you know how it feels to keep my hideousness a secret from the entire school and now you keep blackmailing me" I said crying and walked away limping and fell to the ground.

Daniel rushed and carried me to sit on the bench.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know" he said in a deep voice making my heart melt.

he took the coffee and asked me to climb on his back, I reluctantly climbed and he took me to his dorm room,his friends were asleep so I sat down and he wrapped a blanket around me and warmed up the coffee for me to drink, I watched how he took care of my knee,he put on a cast and I felt better, I was speechless, I guess he wasn't who I thought he was.
