Ever since the coffee incident, Daniel started warming up to me and we became close friends,he became nicer and one day we were sitting on the bleachers and talking.
"Daniel, I haven't heard you mention anything about your family, parents or anything, I don't even know your last name" I said as he smiled.
"well my last name is Leavenworth, so Daniel amoux Leavenworth"he said as he stood up to bow sarcastically.
"isn't amoux eagle wolf in french"
"um well I don't know I would have to ask my mom" he said nervously.
"really okay what about ur family, don't tell me you don't have a family" I said folding my arms as he laughed.
"I do actually but they live far away, I have an older brother,he is my sworn enemy and......" he said as he looked angry and clinged his fist.
"what happened"I asked looking puzzled.
"jake has always detested me for having more supernatural powers and always plan to kill me" Daniel said not realizing that he said too much.
"supernatural powers....???" I asked confused.
Daniel realized and immediately covered his mouth and stood up to Leave.
"um class is about to start" he said and left.
while I was still thinking Ashley and Jennifer appeared and sat down next to me.
"Madi we noticed something about you....." Ashley said folding her arms.
"yeah Madi,we noticed you and Daniel, what is going on.......are you guys an item"
Jennifer said as she held her cheeks in awe.
"what!!! no we are just friends but he seems really really weird tho, come on let's get to class" I said as I stood up and they followed me.
DANIEL'S POV
I can't believe I said that,ugh.
wait a minute,why am I getting really attached to her?is she really my lunar? I cannot believe this, mom is really pestering me to bring my lunar home and what if she gets scared and doesn't like me as a werewolf? what am I going to do now ugh.
Daniel began to ponder distressingly and then his mom appeared in the night wearing a fur coat and holding a staff with a little wolf statue on the tip and she began to talk to him.
"Daniel amoux Leavenworth!!!" fortune said as Daniel turned around to see his mom.
"OH MY GOODNESS! Mom what are you doing here I told you to stop sneaking on me like that, what do you want" Daniel asked.
"Daniel your time is running out,if you don't bring your lunar home soon, you might as well forget about the throne and let irresponsible jake have it" fortune said as she was looking at Daniel worriedly.
"I'm trying mom, you would have to give me some more time"
Daniel said as he put his hands on his head pacing to and fro.
"I hope you know that without a lunar by your side you can't become a full alpha so please don't be too late" fortune said as she disappeared into thin air.
soon it was bed time and I went to a corner to call my mom.
"hello Mom,how are you doing"
"oh Madison,am very well, how is school going?"
"schools fine mom, what about mason and melody? I miss them so much"
"they miss you too, I'm sorry I didn't call I've been really busy"
"it's okay mom, goodnight I will talk to you later"
" goodnight honey"
the call ended and I turned so see Daniel right behind me.
"omg, Daniel you scared me" I said holding my chest.
"I'm sorry but there's something important I have to tell you" he said worriedly.
we sat down where no one would hear us and he confessed something very very terrifying.
"Madison, I'm a werewolf"
