JACE I woke up earlier than usual. I quickly took a shower, got dressed, and opened my door quietly. I looked left and right, and when I was sure she wasn’t around, I stepped out, closed the door behind me, and hurried downstairs. I felt relieved when I realized I had managed to avoid seeing her today. I headed to the parking area, and just as I was about to get in my car, a voice stopped me. “Brother.” I froze.
