Celeste As I regained consciousness, a sharp pain throbbed in my head, causing me to wince. Every part of my body ached. I attempted to move my hands, only to realize they were bound. My vision blurred as I blinked repeatedly, eventually focusing on the ropes that secured me to a chair. Panic flooded through me. Where was I? What happened? I was still trying to put the puzzle together as to how I got here when the door opened, and Anna walked in. She wasn’t alone. Three men followed her inside. My blood ran cold. “What the hell is this?” I demanded, but my voice came out weak and shaky. “Untie me right now!” Anna threw her head back and laughed. She laughed so hard that tears streamed down her face. “You still don’t get it, do you?” she said, her voice sweet but filled with poison.
