~ALEX~ I watched Elysia walk away from me, her hips swaying with a confidence that was as alluring as it was infuriating. The words she'd asked echoed in my head—can I trust you? The truth was, she had no idea what she was asking. Growing up with Hartwell in the same pack had been a constant battle of wits and wills. His family had been close to mine—his father, my grandfather’s right-hand man. But Hartwell had always had a greedy streak, one that had only grown darker with time.
