No more had the words slipped past my lips, than Twix linked with me. "Alex, get your ass over here to the village. Your brother has lost it!"
"What do you mean he's lost it?" I inwardly hissed.
"Goddammit Alex, I don't have time to explain, just get over here!" Twix blasted.
Peering at Lila, I snarled, "I've got to go. Keep her safe."
With those words, I shifted into my Alpha form and quickly covered the ground to the village.
As I reached the grounds, I stared around me, stunned. Bodies were scattered across the yard. Drawing my eyes away from the scene, I stepped through the threshold, my nose wrinkling at the stench of blood and fear.
