“We need to go back to talk to Cox one more time,” Sean said the next morning.
They had done as planned. Sean gave Jonah the files he’d stolen, while Ken set up and emailed the spy program to Cox’s hidden laptop. They wouldn’t know if he was successful until Cox opened the email and downloaded the program, thinking it was a file from his bank updating their security for the account that was stored on his computer.
They left Jonah’s when they were finished, going back to the condo. Neither of them mentioned what had happened between them earlier that day, although it played through Sean’s mind more than he wanted. He wondered if it would happen again.
