Chapter 14 : Shameless?

Ray walked all the way toward Eastern state. To reach the Eastern border he first have to cross the huge mountain range which was filled with ferocious monsters and magic beasts then cross the vast ocean area.Traveling between the states are extremely dangerous, many cultivator died every year because of this. Ray didn't bring anything with him to his journey .
He just walks,sometime stops and kill some beasts to eat. He slept whenever and wherever he liked. His clothes became dirty, he just looked like a beggar in the wild but who would dare to think of him as a typical beggar because which beggar could travel in this wildland unharmed.
Ray didn't directly cross the mountain range, he just walked by using the map and it was not much safe because who knows when a magic beasts pact would attack. Many carriages passed by him but they didn't gave him any attention. He walked in a leisurely pace, not in a hurry.
He encountered many magic beasts along the way but for some reason they didn't attack him. He saw many cultivators being killed by wild magic beasts and monsters, some escaped and some died. Some even screamed asking for help,Ray didn't save them because this was the nature of life and he doesn't want to interfere in peoples fate unless it's necessary.
One day a luxurious carriage approached him slowly. A huge Sage beast was pulling it forward . The carriage was guarded by many saint realm cultivator. They looked like veteran guards who had experienced many life and death battles.They would subconsciously gave a sense of oppression to others.
Ray stopped as he looked at the carriage curiously, waiting silently without saying a word.Soon a crisp female voice came from inside the carriage.
" Young master must be tired from the long journey, why not take a little rest inside our small carriage. "
"Okay." Ray agreed directly.
She was only being polite. Which young girl would let an unknown man sleep in her carriage?
An old woman opened the door for him quickly. As he got in the carriage everyone gave him a weird look, only the old woman kept an expressionless face.
Inside the carriage was very spacious and also very simple. A soft large bed, comfortable sofa and many more. He directly sat on the bed and finally looked at the person who was still sitting at the sofa, a young girl actually. She was quite beautiful, an oval face, big rounded green eyes. She wore a long cyan dress with, showing a graceful temperament.
She was a little shocked by his unhindered behaviour but she quickly settled her heart. Keep in mind that she was a girl and he was a man,he should have had some reservation .
" Young master must be tired, I'll go outside for a while in the meantime you should fresh yourself . " She said with a smile.
With that said she got off the carriage.
Ray didn't say anything. He quickly changed into a new set of clothes that were prepared by her. He washed himself and dozed off in the bed without any care.
The girl was riding a horse , she obviously can't stay in the same carriage with a man.
Ray slept till evening, when he woke up he saw the girl was sitting in the sofa and looking at him curiously. When their eyes met she quickly looked away.
' This girl pretend to be calm and temperament but actually very inexperienced but her vision and talent are very strong. ' Ray assessed in his heart and laughed.
" Am i that handsome? " He said with a playful smile.
" Huh!! well...." She smiled wryly not knowing how to answer.
" Young master the food is ready, are you coming outside to eat with us or I'll send it to you here. " She said quickly.
" Let's go. " Ray said waving his hand slightly.
While walking outside with her Ray felt a few piercing gaze toward him.He chuckled slightly and didn't mind, he can see that the girl was a pampered daughter of a noble household so having a few protectors is normal.
He finished his meal quickly but without waiting for her to finish he jumped into the carriage again. Those guards became instantly very dissatisfied but didn't dare to say anything.
' Shameless ' The old woman snorted and murmured inside.
