Ray got news from old man jake that Black Lotus Empire has already dispatched their troops at north to conquer and Arnold has been called by Emperor to defend the Northern Border.
Hearing this news ray smiled slightly and said nothing.
Ray already expected this sudden attack from Black Lotus. Everyone thinks that Black Lotus Empires empress was full of ambition and wants to conquer all the small kingdoms but Ray knew that this wasn't the case, same goes for the imperial family of Star Sword.
Star sword Empire hides something that Black Lotus Empress needs. The Lotus Empress was already anxious and can't wait much long about this matter.
Same day at evening a guest came to Ray's courtyard. Well it was the same girl as before. She wore a loose white robe, her silk black hairs draped behind her back. She payed a quick respect to him and sat beside him.
" Young master, where will you go after this matter is over? " She asked with a gentle voice.
" Search for something i need. " Ray looked at the sky and replied slowly
" What is it? maybe i can help you. " In fact she was very knowledgeable and smart so she wanted to assist him if possible.
" No. You can't. " Ray shook his slightly.
She didn't ask anything further. She knew that it'll be inappropriate.
" What will you do now? They have already started to move. " Ray inquired while looking at her.
" I can only try my best but if something happens aren't you here for me? " She gave a coquettish grin.
" huh, you are so confidence in me? Maybe I'm just a weak person dressing up as a god. " Ray laughed as he said.
" No, my guess is you are playing the sheep to eat the tiger. '' She smiled, her smile could even overshine the moonlight.
Ray chuckled slightly " Girl, If i want to eat the tiger there's no need to play the sheep. I can directly slay the tiger if i want, even if a dragon blocks my path, no big deal. "
Such a domineering tone made her speechless. Such confidence, such arrogance who knows where it comes from. His confident tone relieved the worry of her heart a little.
" Young master definitely can sweep through everything. " She flattered.
" Stop flattering, it's so superfluous. " Ray waved his hand as he said this.
" Stay alert, sometime the most unexpected thing happens when you expect them in the least . " Ray warned her.
" I'll be careful young master. " She nodded gently.
After a few round of bickering with Ray, she left the courtyard.
Ray finished his tea, walked into his room and shut the door. Peaceful night continued.
People outside discussed things about the war with heat.
" Who do you think will win? I heard 'Servia ' family has been dispatched to the border. " Someone said.
" Of course its our Lord Servia will win. He never lost to anyone. " Another one exclaimed.
" I heard Black Lotus's commander is also extremely powerful no less than our Servia Lord " Someone chimed in.
" Hmm..who is it? "
" I heard his name his Sky Splitting Blade. "
" Huh.I have heard this name somewhere before.... can't remember. "
" Of course you have heard his name i***t, he is someone who alone had defeated two thousand army by himself, around five years ago in the battle between Black Lotus against Sun God Empire " Another knowledgeable individual exclaimed.
" No wonder, but i still think our Servia Lord will win " He Shouted proudly.
Others shook their head and laughed.
Black Lotus Empire was going all out, they besieged Star Sword from all side. Eastern territory of star sword where Servia family ruled has been conquered. This was a huge blow to the Servia family. Despite the chaos Ray's peaceful life has never been disturbed.
Arnold heard the news about his territory and was still calm. He knows as long as Ray takes the shot everything will be reversed and also there was his daughter. Other might not know but he knows very well about her capabilities, so he never became anxious instead he was more focused on his enemy infront. His daughter was his biggest pride and also his trump card.
Star Sword Empire, deep inside the imperial palace a beautiful girl was sitting at the dark corner of her room. She was dressed in black, her bright red eyes were cold and emanated murderous aura. She looked at a certain direction, despite all the obstacles her gaze pierced through space and fell at the place where Black Lotus Empire's palace was located. Inside Imperial Palace Lotus Empress opened her eyes and gazed back. She chuckled slightly and closed her eyes again.
The Girl in black coldly snorted " Lotus, you can be arrogant all you want. Once i get my hands on that item I'll make you pay. " No one heard her silent curses
A knocking sound came as a maid walked in " Princess, his majesty summoned you with haste. " The maid said respectfully.
" Okay." The girl in black walked away, her cold countenance didn't change.
