The safe house in the mountains was cold, but Vance barely noticed. He sat at the command center, staring at the monitors. The First Order was still out there. Still planning. Still dangerous. His daughter was asleep in the next room. His mother was watching over her. Echo was beside him, her fingers flying across the keyboard. "I've been tracking their communications," she said. "They're regrouping. A new command center is being established." "Where?" "Eastern Europe. A facility in the Carpathian Mountains." "Then we go there." "Vance, we need to be smart about this.
