"After a lot of deliberation and doing our checks, we have decided on who to award the railway project. We award the contract to A&M Construction," the man said.
"What the hell!" Amanda yelled.
Aiden was standing in the living room fixing his cufflinks wearing a black suit with a white. He heard the news and the side of his lips curled upwards.
"What did you do to get the contract?" Amanda asked Aiden when she turned and saw him.
"What do you mean?" Aiden asked.
"Who did you pay to get the contract?" Amanda asked through gritted teeth.
"Is that what you did?" Aiden asked and walked towards his office.
"I am not going to accept this," Amanda said and out of anger, he dialled Mr Smith's number.
"What the hell happened?" Amanda asked as soon as Mr Smith answered.
